Principal

The Quail Run staff is enthusiastically looking forward to working in partnership with parents to provide successful learning experiences for our students. We are focused on inspiring and supporting your children as they learn and grow. Our Quails made many academic gains last year and we are going to continue to build on those successes and strengths to achieve even higher goals!
Quail Run is a School Wide Title I School. With this added distinction, we are able to offer more academic support to our entire student body. We have four reading teachers who assist with literacy across our campus, as well as additional math and reading intervention programs.
We encourage family participation in our school and look to provide many opportunities through volunteer work in classrooms, the library, field trips, celebrations, PTF, and special events. In creating a community that supports education, we don’t miss an opportunity to show off our talented Quails!
Effective communication is a priority in a partnership. I will send home weekly newsletters, to share upcoming events, news, and celebrations on Friday throughout the year. We will have PTF meetings, parent teacher conferences, and other events to support each other in meeting the needs of all students!
Quail Run’s long-standing commitment to a supportive and inclusive learning environment is truly inspiring. The school offers a robust educational experience for children of all abilities and backgrounds, fosters a positive school culture through PBIS, cultivates strong parent and community partnerships, and provides a wide range of student enrichment opportunities through 21st Century Programs. This dedication to the whole child continues to guide our collective efforts in ensuring every student thrives academically, socially, and emotionally.
With over seventeen years of experience in K–12 education, I’ve had the opportunity to serve in various roles including classroom teacher, curriculum developer, and school leader. My academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Arizona, a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Northern Arizona University, and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Grand Canyon University. I’m proud to call Marana home, where I live with my husband and our three children.
I am excited to partner with our students, parents, faculty, and staff as we continue the wonderful traditions that make Quail Run so special—while also embracing new opportunities for growth and success. Together, we’re paving the way for our Quails to be “learners today, leaders tomorrow.”
