Before/After School (LEAP)
The Learning, Enrichment, And Play (LEAP) program offers secure, supervised learning and play experiences that enhance the time a child spends away from home and school. The LEAP program also offers a Teen Extended Day (TED) program providing secure, supervised care.
All LEAP sites are licensed facilities located at each elementary school within the Marana Unified School District for students enrolled in preschool through sixth grade. K-8 schools within the Marana Unified School District offer both a LEAP site (preK-5th grades) and a TED program (6-8th grades).

LEAP and TED offer homework support, art, physical education, and creative projects geared to engage students in a fun and safe way. The variety of activities offered are designed to promote healthy habits and positive social growth and development.
The Program is committed to the following goals:
- helping students become responsible and accountable for their actions,
- helping students learn respect for themselves and others,
- providing opportunities for students to feel successful and confident,
- providing academic support.
Locations & Hours
These safe, quality, and affordable programs are offered at the locations, days and times listed below during the school year and during school and summer breaks at select locations advertised each year.
School Breaks / Summer
Some sites may be closed during school breaks and/or summer. The ELO office can be reached at (520) 616-4506 during Fall, Spring & Summer Breaks. Capacity is limited at some sites. Please contact your LEAP site (where your child attends school) prior to registering to check on space availability.

LEAP is available at all MUSD Elementary Schools:
LEAP is offered for grades preschool-6, Monday – Friday during the school year from 6:00am to the start of school day, then from school end until 6:00pm at the following locations:
TED
Teen Extended Day Program
LEAP and TED are available at MUSD K-8 Schools:
The Teen Extended Day (TED) program offers secure, supervised care for students enrolled in MUSD K-8 schools grades 6 through 8 throughout the school year. TED hours are 6:00 am until school starts, and when school is out until 6:00pm Monday through Friday at the following locations:
The TED program is not offered during school breaks.
Summer LEAP
During Summer Break
Exciting weekly themed activities with STEM focus:
LEAP explores all kinds of summertime fun through weekly themes focusing on STEM, arts & crafts, music, dancing and lots of fun physical activities.
LEAP is offered at select school locations.
Children must be age 5 going to kinder at MUSD school until children going into 6th grade at MUSD school. (children age out of Leap at age 13 per AZDHS)
